'70S SHOW

Having 70's nostalgia like myself? Well guess what? The 70's are making a comeback and I am loving the groovy trends more than ever. For this look, we are going to make a flashback to the dreamy past with some Charlotte Russe 70's inspired pieces...

For this 70's inspired outfit, I wore a high-waisted denim skirt, and an off the shoulder top with lace detailing while walking down the street. I am loving denim mini skirts at the moment, especially this one with snap button detailing on the front. A denim skirt is a must have staple piece in any girl's closet this season! Denim is a versatile fabric that can be worn with almost anything, on almost any occasion. Because it is high-waisted skirt, I paired it with a lace crop top. This lace off the shoulder top, adds a feminine and flirty touch to the denim skirt. To accessorize this 70's get up, I wore a pair of neutral wooden platforms, a circular cross bag with crocheted detailing, and a polka dot handkerchief scarf around the neck. One of my favorite trends that is making a comeback from the wild decade is the neck scarf. A bandana is the perfect accoutrement with denim wear on any day. Girls, do not be afraid to take risks with your wardrobe, the 70's was all about taking risks with their prints and silhouettes. To spruce up any outfit, add a printed scarf or a pair of statement sunglasses. Oh, and you cannot go wrong with a cute purse like this one. With the crocheted texture and fringe detailing, this cross body bag is never coming off. Fashion is all about taking risks and having fun with your wardrobe. Who else is ready to dress like they just walked out of "That 70's Show"?

  1. This is such a gorgeous outfit, and really stunning photos! I haven't picked up a button-down skirt yet myself, but now I really, really want one. Absolutely love your platforms and bag too!
